DragonFly 1.0 only. The procedure described on this page applies to the original DragonFly 1.0 hardware only. These steps are not valid for the DragonFly 2.0, which is based on a Raspberry Pi.
Factory default network settings
After a factory reset, the DragonFly returns to the following network configuration:
| Setting | Default value |
|---|---|
| DHCP | Enabled (automatic IP) |
| Device name | Dragonfly |
| Fallback IP address | 192.168.3.67 |
With DHCP enabled, the router will assign an IP address automatically. If the DragonFly cannot reach a DHCP server, it falls back to the static IP 192.168.3.67.
Reset procedure
You will need a USB cable and a computer.
- Power down the DragonFly. Disconnect the power supply from the unit.
- Open the enclosure. Remove the four corner screws and lift the lid.
- Connect the USB cable. Insert a USB cable into the internal connector on the DragonFly board, with the other end connected to any computer.
- Watch the indicator LEDs. The activity LED will blink wildly for a few seconds, and the power LED will go orange. That is it—the reset is done.
- Remove the USB cable. Unplug it once the LEDs have confirmed the reset.
- Close the box. Replace the lid and tighten the four corner screws—your DragonFly configuration is as good as new.
After the reset
With the DragonFly back on the network under DHCP, you can reach it at http://dragonfly. If the hostname does not resolve yet, try the fallback address http://192.168.3.67. Network settings, including the device name, are changed with the DragonFly Configurator.
